What we do…
The Young Ones project is to turn tears of emptiness to tears of happiness.
We work through recognised professionals to identify and provide support for children aged 0 to 17 years who are in need or in crisis.
Our supported groups typically include families experiencing poverty, domestic violence, bereavement and children entering emergency foster placements.
Our Services
We deliver two types of assistance throughout the year, providing emergency relief and festive support to families in crisis.
Emergency Boxes
We help vulnerable families meet essential needs during emergencies.
The work we do helps ensure children have access to basic essentials (e.g. clothing, toiletries, baby equipment), helping families integrate in their social structures by providing them with the confidence and resources others take for granted.
Gift Boxes
Thousands of children in the UK go without the joy of a gift at special times of the year.
Working through professional referrals only, we identify the most disadvantaged children and make sure that they are not left to go without.
Our work is designed to nurture self-worth with children who are susceptible to isolation and withdrawal from their communities.

Who We Work With
We are committed to ensuring we support those families and children that need us most.
To reach those in our communities who are most vulnerable, we work exclusively through respected organisations who qualify the recipients of our support.
These organisations include children’s services, safeguarding teams, charities, council bodies, local schools and governmental agencies.
We have been working with some of our partners over many years and have established a reputation of being able to provide important assistance when no other support is available.
